When to Reserve Outfit

You can book a rental outfit up to 4 months in advance, and schedule your order to arrive up to 1 week before your event.

Sizing - Based on Bust Size

XS - 32-33 inches

Small - 34-35 inches

Medium - 36-38 inches

Large - 39-40 inches

XL - 42-43 inches

XXL - 44-45 inches

XXXL - 46-48 inches

How to Rent an Outfit

  1. Find It: You can filter by color, length, trend and more to find the best look for you.
  2. Reserve It: Choose a delivery and return date, and rent for 4 or 10 days.
  3. Choose a Back Up Size: You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to select your back-up size outfit within 24 hours of reserving your outfit.
  4. Wear It & Flaunt It: The dress will be delivered to the address you provide by 8pm on your indicated delivery date.
  5. Return It: Returns are free! Place items you rented in the provided packaging (which includes a pre-paid label). Take the packaging to a USPS drop box by 12pm on your rental return date. We’ll handle the dry cleaning.

How to Choose My Back Up Size

Once you order the outfit you would like to wear, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours with instructions on how to select your back-up size outfit. Here are the instructions to select your back up size:

  1. If you ordered a sari or a lehenga, go to Accessories --> Blouses, and select a different size blouse. If you ordered a salwar kameez, gown, or indowestern, go to www.BorrowBollywood.com and search for the outfit you would like to get in a backup size.

    The outfit must be the same or lower price than the outfit you ordered.

    2. Email orders@BorrowBollywood.com with the following details within 36 hours of receiving this email:

    Your Name
    Your Order #
    Back Up Outfit Name
    Back Up Outfit Size

    3. You will receive a confirmation email with your full order including your back up outfit within 24 hours. You will receive your order in one package. Please contact orders@BorrowBollywood.com if you have any questions about your order at anytime.

How to ship to a hotel

If you're shipping to a hotel, please put the hotel name in the company field and the reservation guest’s name in the attention field. Please make sure the hotel concierge is expecting your delivery

Outfit Arrival Time

 

Deliveries are made between 8am and 10pm during weekdays and Saturdays. We provide tracking information so you can see when your package is out for delivery.

 

What if the Outfit Doesn’t Fit?

 

If the outfit you ordered doesn't fit, please try on the complimentary back-up size that you requested. 

We do our best to provide accurate sizing and are available to answer any questions you have about specific measurements. We also provide complimentary back-up sizes in case the size you ordered doesn't work out. For these reasons, we do not provide refunds on any orders. 

 

Accidental Stains or Damage to the Outfit

 

We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable. As long as we can repair the outfit, there’s no need to worry. However, significant damage and theft aren't covered. If the item is damaged beyond repair, the fee will be equal to repairing or replacing the item, which will be determined by us. If the item is never returned, the fee is double the retail price of the item, and is yours to keep.

How to Return Your Rental

The date to send back your rental items is stated in your online invoice. In order to avoid a late fee:

  • Send back the products you rented in the return packaging provided to you by BorrowBollywood.
  • Returns must be dropped off at a USPS store located in the United States by 12 p.m. on or before the return date specified in your order. This ensures that your package will be scanned by USPS by the next day and returned to BorrowBollywood on time.
  • Please note that you are liable for any late fees incurred, regardless of any third party involved with the return. Do not leave your rentals with any third party (hotel, mail room, friend) for return.
  • If you lose the return packaging, you are responsible for returning the item at your own expense by the expected return date, and providing BorrowBollywood with a tracking number. Email orders@borrowbollywood.com to receive instructions on the return mailing address.

When a dress or accessory is not returned to us on time by a customer, or is lost or stolen, it impacts our ability to deliver on our promises to other customers and it harms our business. Because our products are unique and not replaceable, we cannot purchase additional products to fulfill orders due to late returns. We rely on our customers to return our products on time so that we can ensure other customers will have their dress for their event. Please review our Late Fee Policy below which explains how to return your rental products and outlines the late fees charged for late returns.

Late Fee

If you return your rental items late or do not return them at all, a late fee of $50 per day will be charged to the credit card you used for the order. This late fee is in addition to the rental fee for the products.
